Ezhattumugham: Where The Chalakudy River Splits Into Seven
Rocky channels, small river islands and quiet shade — Ezhattumugham is the calm side of the Athirappilly trip.
A riverside nature village where the Chalakudy river splits into rocky channels, opposite Thumboormuzhi.
Ezhattumugham means "seven river mouths" — here the Chalakudy river breaks into several channels around boulders and small islands. The Prakruthi Gramam (nature village) along the bank has shaded paths, gardens and viewpoints over the rapids.
The hanging bridge links it with Thumboormuzhi on the opposite bank.
