Slides, wave pool and a lazy river — how we planned a theme park day around the Athirappilly falls.
With two kids in the car, we knew the falls alone would not be enough. So we split the day: Athirappilly in the morning, the Silver Storm water theme park at Vettilappara in the afternoon.
The park
Water slides for different ages, a wave pool, a lazy river and a dry ride area. Lockers and changing rooms are near the entrance.
How we planned it
- Falls first, early in the morning before the heat and crowds.
- Lunch at the park, then rides until evening.
- Back to Chalakudy before dark.
Tips
Carry swimwear — the park has dress rules for the pools. Check current timings and ticket prices on the official website before you go.
